Children and parents learning new skills together

So I have now got to the point where I have been allocated a team to mentor in Doncaster College’s “What’s Your Big Idea” initiative.

My team is intending to design and build an after school club for children and their parents together, so that they can learn together new skills such as recipe design and cooking. The concept of family members learning side by side is a great one, not only because of the upskilling angle, but in terms of family harmony and bonding.

I look forward to working with the team over the coming months, to help them develop their ideas and get the concept to market.

This is most definitely a business that is working for the Community Interest, and I wish the team, and all other teams working in the challenge, the best of luck.
