HR workers are the unhappiest employees in the UK, according to a City and Guilds Career Happiness Index.
The Index claims that despite HR professionals being paid well, these high-pressure jobs don’t provide workers with enough fulfillment and don’t offer enough flexibility.

I personally have experienced some of these factors. Not enough attention to my own career progression. An expectation of going that extra mile, but with inadequate rewards or recognition for a job well done.
